Hello, I’m Claire, wife to Eamon and proud mum to two teenagers, and together we share a lifelong love of cats. Our home is ruled by two very special felines: Belle, our beautiful Ragdoll, and Casper, our much-loved British Shorthair. Like all cats, they each have their own personalities, routines and quirks, and they are completely adored and thoroughly spoiled, exactly as they should be.
Creating Palm View Cattery has been a true dream for our family. We wanted to build somewhere that feels calm, safe and welcoming, a place where cats are cared for with genuine love, patience and understanding while their owners are away.
We know that every cat is unique, which is why we provide care tailored to each individual guest. Some cats love fuss, attention and companionship, while others prefer peace, quiet and their own space. Whatever makes your cat feel happiest and most comfortable is exactly the care they will receive with us.
For added reassurance, I hold an Ofqual Level 2 qualification in Feline Care & Behaviour, giving us the knowledge and experience to understand your cat’s needs and ensure they receive the highest standard of care throughout their stay.
Palm View Cattery is fully licensed by Broadland District Council and has been purpose-built with your cat’s comfort and wellbeing in mind. Our insulated accommodation keeps cats cosy in the colder months and cool during summer, creating a comfortable environment all year round.
We understand that leaving your cat can feel emotional and sometimes stressful, after all, they are part of the family. That’s why we do everything we can to make both your holiday and your cat’s stay as relaxed and reassuring as possible. During their visit, we are happy to keep in touch with regular updates, messages and photos via WhatsApp or our booking system, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your cat is happy, settled and well cared for.
As a small, family-run cattery, we are able to give every guest the time, attention and individual care they deserve. To us, every cat is treated as one of our own, with kindness, patience and lots of love.
